Omega assembles prestressed concrete masts used as advertising pylons. At the construction site, we handle unloading and prepare for vertical assembly. The pylons range from 15m to 50m in height and consist of one or several sections, depending on the requirements. Advertisements are installed according to the documentation agreed upon with the client. Horizontal ads are mounted at various heights on the sections, while large vertical ads are placed at the top. We install advertisements for brands such as McDONALD’S, KFC, BP, SHELL, BURGER KING, IKEA.
Since 1996, our company has been involved in the assembly of prestressed concrete and steel masts for the telecommunications needs of mobile network operators and PKP PLK (GSMR). We have assembled several thousand masts in various configurations and heights in Poland, Germany, and Slovakia. The tallest prestressed concrete telecommunication mast stands at 80m and weighs 200 tons. Currently, we are executing a large contract for PKP PLK throughout the country. Our company also handles mast disassembly and disposal.
We specialize in the installation of steel poles for power transmission purposes. We install poles ranging from 110kV to 400kV in Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Sweden, and Denmark. Most of our power line poles are lattice steel structures, although we also use tubular and prestressed concrete poles. We use our own transportation equipment for delivering structures to the installation sites, but we also rely on external services. Horizontal pole installation is performed using HDS and cranes, while vertical installation employs heavy-duty cranes in various configurations. In hard-to-reach places, we use mountaineering methods. We provide tools, torque wrenches, hoists, as well as PSA and occupational health and safety equipment. We also assist in preparing poles for conductor and OPGW installation. We independently and comprehensively install conductors on 110kV lines using our own stringing equipment. For 380kV and 400kV lines, we install insulation, current bridges, disconnectors, and a full range of tensioning accessories. We also assist with conductor stringing. We perform various reinforcements, structural replacements on existing poles, and conduct post-installation inspections. We also handle the dismantling of existing power lines using mountaineering, crane, and helicopter methods.
